Privacy Policy Kraket

Introduction

We are aware that you have confidence in us. We therefore see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy. In this text we will let you know what data we collect when you are a member of Kraket, why we collect this data and for what purposes the data is used. This way you understand exactly how we work.

This privacy policy applies to the services of Kritische Actuarissen en Econometristen (hereinafter: Kraket). You should be aware that Kraket is not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and sources that can be mentioned in mobile application.

Kraket respects the privacy of all users of its app and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Kraket in all cases adheres to the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

This privacy statement will sometimes be changed because of, for example, amendments to the law. It is therefore advisable to periodically consult this policy.

Processing of personal data

When you sign up for a membership at Kraket, we ask you to provide personal information. This data is processed by Kraket for the following purposes:

The data is stored on Kraket's own secure servers or those of a third party. The data that is required to be delivered are the minimum required data for the provision of the Kraket services. If this mandatory information is not provided, Kraket cannot provide a membership.

Your personal data will be stored by Kraket for the above processing for the following period:
During the term of the membership, and then for the period of at most one year in an old-member file. We use this file to provide information about, among other things, the alumni association. After this period the personal data will only be stored in the financial administration for a maximum of seven years.

We do not collect or use your personal information for purposes other than the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless we have obtained your permission in advance.

We may provide the personal data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the aforementioned purposes. For example, we use a third party for:

We never pass on personal data to parties with whom we have not made a processor agreement. Furthermore, we will not provide the personal data you provide to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted, or unless we have obtained your permission in advance. A special third party is our alumni association Extrie. With regards to the collaboration between Kraket and Extrie, we share the same web domain. Therefore, our alumni association will have acces to the personal data in the admin. To protect your data, all parties who have acces to the admin will have signed a data processing agreement.

Kraket will never store personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which the data was provided, or is required by law.

Kraket has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing. Examples of these measures are:

When you send emails or other messages to us, we may retain those messages. Sometimes we ask you for your personal details that are relevant to the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on Kraket's own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this information with other personal information we have.

Rights

You have the right to view, change, or delete any personal information we hold about you. You have the right to limit and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to have the information provided by us transferred to you or on your behalf directly to another party. You can use these rights by submitting a request via the contact details below. We can ask you to identify you before we respond to these requests. The data that we process from you are the minimum required data for the provision of the Kraket services. Limiting or objecting to the processing of your data may lead to an exclusion from membership of Kraket.

If you have given permission to process your personal data, you always have the right to withdraw this consent.
